Swobbit® Launches UK Manufacturing, Distribution Facility
GUILFORD, CONNECTICUT (USA) - Swobbit® Products of Guilford, Connecticut has opened a manufacturing and distribution facility in the United Kingdom to improve service to customers in Europe for its boat maintenance products.
The Swobbit facility in Whitstable, Kent is to be operated as a joint venture with Barton Marine Equipment, a leading manufacturer of over 1,000 marine products since 1949.
Barton will provide manufacturing, distribution and customer service for the full line of Swobbit products, which begins with the Perfect Pole telescoping handle with a patented no-look tracking system for foolproof adjustments. It is designed to work with Swobbit's Uni-Snap quick release accessories including wash brushes, washing tools and drying mops. Other products in the Swobbit line include water blades, scrub pads, microfiber and complete boat maintenance kits.
